Privacy policy

The short version: Cleat does not require you to create an account or submit any personal information to watch content. We use Google Search Console to understand how people find the site via search. That's it.

1. Who we are

Cleat ("Cleat," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Pelican 01 LLC, a limited liability company. Our streaming service is available at cleat.tv.

2. Information we collect

We do not require you to register, log in, or provide any personal information to use Cleat. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information (PII) from visitors.

The following limited technical data may be collected automatically when you visit the site:

Search Console data — We use Google Search Console to understand how our site appears in Google Search results. Google may process search query data and click data in accordance with Google's own privacy policy. We only see aggregated, anonymized reports (e.g., which search terms bring people to our site).
Platform analytics — Our site is built and hosted on Lovable's platform. Lovable may collect standard server logs and usage metrics (such as page views and error reports) as part of operating the infrastructure. We do not control this data collection; please refer to Lovable's privacy policy for details.
Browser data — Like any website, our servers may automatically receive your IP address, browser type, and referring URL when you request a page. This data is not used to identify you and is not stored by us beyond standard server log retention.

3. Cookies

We do not place first-party advertising or tracking cookies. Google Search Console may set cookies as part of its standard operation. Our hosting platform (Lovable) may set technical cookies necessary to deliver the service. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or track you across other websites.

4. How we use information

The limited data described above is used solely to:

Operate and improve the Cleat streaming service;
Understand aggregate traffic patterns to our site via Google Search Console;
Diagnose technical issues through our hosting platform.

We do not sell, rent, or trade any information about visitors to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Third-party services

Cleat relies on the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Google Search Console — policies.google.com/privacy
Lovable (site infrastructure) — lovable.dev/privacy

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.

6. Advertising

Cleat is an ad-supported service. We do not currently serve third-party programmatic ads. If we introduce an advertising network in the future, we will update this policy before doing so and will describe what data, if any, is shared with ad partners.

7. Children's privacy

Cleat is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Data retention

Because we do not collect personal information directly, we have no personal data to retain or delete. Any server logs retained by our hosting platform are subject to that platform's data retention practices.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights regarding personal data under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because we do not collect or store your personal information, we are generally unable to fulfill data access or deletion requests. If you believe we hold any of your data, please contact us and we will investigate.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top of this page will reflect when the most recent changes were made. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

By accessing or using Cleat.tv, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. About Cleat

Cleat is a free, ad-supported live sports streaming service operated by Pelican 01 LLC ("Cleat," "we," "us," or "our"). The service is available at cleat.tv.

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Cleat, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you are using Cleat on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. The service

Cleat provides free access to live and on-demand sports streaming content. The service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to:

Change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice;
Modify the channel lineup, content availability, or features at our sole discretion;
Introduce advertising at any time as part of the free, ad-supported model.

4. Permitted use

You may use Cleat for your own personal, non-commercial viewing. You agree not to:

Copy, record, redistribute, or rebroadcast any content available through Cleat;
Use any automated tool, bot, scraper, or crawler to access or extract content from the service;
Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any digital rights management or access controls;
Use the service in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of any third party;
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

5. Content and intellectual property

All content available through Cleat — including video streams, logos, channel branding, and other materials — is owned by or licensed to Cleat or its content partners. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership interest in such content.

The Cleat name, logo, and brand elements are the property of Pelican 01 LLC. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

6. AI Coach feature

Cleat may offer an AI-powered assistant ("AI Coach") to help users find content and answer sports-related questions. Responses from the AI Coach are generated automatically and may not always be accurate, complete, or current. You should not rely on AI Coach responses as your sole source of information for any important decision. We are not liable for errors or omissions in AI-generated responses.

7. Third-party content and links

Cleat may display content from, or link to, third-party websites or services. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site or service. Accessing third-party content is at your own risk.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PELICAN 01 LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED $100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pelican 01 LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The "Effective date" at the top of this page will indicate when changes were last made. Continued use of the service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pelican 01 LLC regarding your use of Cleat and supersede any prior agreements.
